World Vegan Day:

Let us all galvanize to be heard!

Many who advocate veganism are often frustrated that the messages go unheard by mainstream media… There are countless subjects concerning everything from the ills of a meat based diet to animal enslavement. But, it all becomes “noise” as we are all polarized in the message we present. We all have different campaigns, causes and agendas.

What if — For one day — We ALL tell our story of why we’ve chosen a vegan lifestyle?

Each of us has had a defining “Aha” moment. For some it was a brochure, a talk with an advocate, a book, a story on the news… or more likely something on the internet.

Whatever it was – if it changed you – it may change someone else as well.

We have the greatest social networks at our disposal.

On November 1st – Every vegan should twitter (#vegan), blog, go on forums, write online essays and articles. Youtube or podcast “your VEGAN story”.

Just tell it!

  1. Great idea! Plenty of time to spread the word and get it going!

My feeling is too, just hearing each other’s stories has it’s benefits. It’s good to know there’s comradery in the many life experiences we’ve had on our journey. If nothing else, I hope to make “new friends” and get to know “old” ones better.

Hopefully we can each introduce a few strangers to veganism and AR along the way. :)
