Who Do You Eat?
The so-called debate about veganism isn’t about what you eat; it’s about WHO you eat.

Animals have brains, they feel pain, they have emotions, they form relationships, they don’t want to suffer, they don’t want to die.
Humans, most of them anyway, have brains, they understand that animals suffer, they understand that meat, eggs, and dairy are not necessary for health, they feel empathy for animals.
Feel the empathy yourself by going here: http://meat.org
Yet most people don’t act on that empathy. They don’t take that empathy to its logical conclusions.
Instead, they bury their heads in the sand and pretend that “cage-free” means the animal didn’t suffer, they pretend that “free-range” means the animal didn’t suffer,
they pretend that “grass-fed” means the animal didn’t suffer, they pretend that “humane” means the animal didn’t suffer.
They lie to themselves.
Don’t lie to yourself, here is what the labels really mean: http://humanefacts.org/labels.htm

An anti-vegan commented that the calf shown above “is a jersey and would rarely be used as a meat animal.” True, jerseys are often used for dairy, not meat. And…
a) dairy production is often cruel
b) male dairy calves are often killed for veal
c) “spent” dairy cows are often killed for cheap beef
