What Do Vegans Eat?

What Do Vegans Eat?

In my opinion, one of the best ways to understand a plant-based diet is to see the foods that vegans and vegetarians eat. There’s just something about seeing it that makes it more real, more available, more easy.

And then of course, even old-timer vegans can benefit from trying something new. For them, too, it’s good to see the way other vegans eat.

So, in that vein, here are some photos of vegan foods:

And here are a couple videos:

FYI, this is micro-activism and web activism: share photos of vegan food online in photo repositories so non-vegans can see that a plant-based diet is filled with an abundance of taste, color, nutrition, creativity, and fun.

For many non-vegans, there’s just a ton of ignorance when it comes to food and nutrition. Knowledge is power, so let’s empower them to chose vegan.

  1. Great Topic!

I have a vegan food pyramid link in my outgoing emails as part of my signature, I think I’ll add another link to a scrumptious picture of a veggie topped pizza :)

  2. I think people believe that vegans are sad, sickly people who don’t eat anything fun! I try to not only be healthy on my vegan diet, but sometimes incorporate raw foods more often too. I’ve found some great stuff on RawPeople to eat, and it makes for a great change.
