Welcome To Our New Writers!

Welcome To Our New Writers!

By now, you’ve likely already read a few blog posts by them, but I’d like to introduce all the current Vegan Soapbox writers:

Alex Melonas is an eloquent vegan. He used to write for Gun Toting Liberal and has had an article published by Reuters. He currently also contributes to That Vegan Girl.

Jen is a student who lives in Washington DC.She grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and likes reality television, advanced vocabulary words, peanut butter, Ikea and designer denim. She hates peas, the cold, those commercials for herpes medication and English professors. Jen also blogs at That Vegan Girl.

Judith Lautner uses the name Convenient Vegan here, mainly because she is the primary author of veganconvenient.com, a blog that focuses on foods that can be cooked easily and quickly, often using vegan convenience foods. One might be tempted to think of her also as “vegan when it’s convenient” and she’d admit there is a little truth to that. She is always vegetarian but at times she slips up in her veganism, sometimes for relatively good reasons but other times because she just slips. She has several blogs, the most active of which is her personal journal.

M. Butterflies Katz (aka Vegan Poet) is co-author of Incredibly Delicious; Recipes for a New Paradigm by Gentle World. Katz work also includes poems at http://www.veganpoet.com.

And then there’s me. Eccentric Vegan is a pen name for me, Elaine Vigneault. I like the name “Eccentric Vegan” because it uses the same initials as my real name. And well, I truly am an eccentric vegan. I also blog at ElaineVigneault.com regularly.

If you look at each article, the author will appear below the title. You can click on their name to read a short bio and get a list of their other articles.

If you are interested in contributing to Vegan Soapbox, please send an email to admin @ vegansoapbox.com (remove the spaces).
