Gallup polls over the last decade show significant changes in the average American’s conscience regarding animals.
The number of people who say animal testing is wrong has steadily increased. Likewise, the number of people who say buying and wearing fur is wrong has steadily increased.

It’s surprising how few people chose “not a moral issue” on some of those. On the other hand, I guess it’s good that almost nobody thinks of animal exploitation as not a moral issue.
