Want To Write For Vegan Soapbox?

We are always looking for new vegan voices that will engage, educate, and inspire readers.
Are you a vegan? Do you write? Would you like to submit a guest post?

Why write for Vegan Soapbox? Here are a few reasons:
- Increase your reach. If you’re like me, then you want a vegan world. So let’s work together to reach as many people as we can. You can multiply the effect of your written words by letting Vegan Soapbox publish them.
- Expand the audience for your blog. Vegan Soapbox has a large readership and has received hundreds of thousands of visits since inception. We’ll give you a link to your blog and you’ll gain readers.
- Stroke your ego. If we like what you write, you’ll receive some positive feedback from Soapbox writers and readers.
- Help us out. We only have a few regular writers but we’re always looking for more voices.
By the way, you retain copyright. You can submit a guest post for the Soapbox and then also post it on your own blog if you like. You can submit a guest post and then publish it in a book or magazine, too. Or submit something you already wrote and published elsewhere.
These are the kinds of articles that we’re looking for:
- Your story: how you went vegan and/or why you are vegan
- News and commentary from a vegan perspective
- Interview with an animal activist, vegan writer, or vegan chef
- Useful information for newbie vegans
- Activism ideas for animal lovers and advocates
- Original vegan recipes or veganized version of nonvegan recipes
- Lists (ten vegan lunches, five vegan cookbooks for singles…)
- Inspirational animal rescue stories
What we’re not looking for:
- Poorly researched articles about vegan nutrition written by nonvegans
- Advertisements for products. Reviews are fine, but be honest.
- Controversy for the sake of controversy. If your ideas are “hot topics” just make sure to back up your claims with good citations.
