VEGTOONS: A Great Place To Put A Few Dollars

I am an avid kickstarter supporter. Kickstarter is a site that allows regular people with little dollars (or big ones) to support projects they love.  I have backed 33 projects on this site, including my latest: VEGTOONS. VEGTOONS  is a short (ten episodes) animated series featuring three animals at lunch (usually in a vegetarian cafe), chatting about all aspects of vegetarianism. The series is written in a light, generally amusing way, with the three distinct animals (a manatee, an orangutan, and a dog) taking on distinct personalities. The series is aimed at 15 – 55 year-olds rather than younger children, and tries to answer the questions people have about plant-based diets. Watch the video and read the blurb on the site for more information about the series.

If you’d like to see this series succeed, join me! Back it at whatever level you can manage. Note that the creators offer incentives for backing the project. I selected one that gets me the whole series on DVD when it’s finished. So in addition to supporting the project you get a special reward you can enjoy! There are only 26 days left before the Kickstarter deadline. If the creators do not meet their goal they get nothing. You don’t pay unless they succeed.

For the record: I am not involved with this project and will not profit in any way from your support of it (except that I get my DVD!).

  1. I would definitely like to see this series. Since I became a vegetarian, I have always been interested in anything that talks about vegetarianism. Do you have an incoming series about the same topic?
