Vegans To Meet At Shea Stadium On May 31, 2008
Special event for vegan New Yorkers! (Or anyone interested in eating veggie dogs at a baseball game.)
JOIN US for a group outing to celebrate Shea Stadium’s introduction of veggie (vegan) dogs in their line up this season! We’ll nosh on veggie dogs (or veggie chili dogs!) sip on brewskis (or soda if that’s your preference), and partake in a lovely Saturday afternoon at the ballpark.
Along with Dan [Piraro, Bizarro cartoonist] and Ashley [Smith, his wife], you’ll meet a noted residential architect, a fabulous flamenco dancer, a custom vegan glove maker (recently voted in by the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum), an MTV video award winner, a former 3-time Little League All Star, a attorney who pro bonos for animal cases… and many others!
WHERE: New York Mets Shea Stadium
DATE: Saturday, May 31 for the game against the L.A. Dodgers
TIME: Game starts at 3:55pm.
SEATS: We’ll be seated in the Upper Reserved Level. Upper rows of section 25.
PRICE: Tickets are $20.00 each.
