Vegan Thanksgiving Meal

thanksgiving image - dog looks on while mom cooks dinner
We had a great Thanksgiving. And so did our sponsored, rescue turkey. Turkeys are for loving, not eating.

(pictured: my mom, Judy, with my dog, Floyd)

Our meal was completely vegan and almost entirely organic. We ate:

  • Veggies & Hummus
  • Crackers & Bean Dip
  • Vegetarian Pot Pie
  • Garlic Mashed Potatoes
  • Mushroom Gravy
  • Green Beans
  • Chard
  • Sweet Potato Biscuits
  • Apple Streusel & Soy Whip Cream
  • Wine
  • Sparkling Apple Cider

The picture says it all: If you wouldn’t eat animals called pets, why eat animals called food? We all love; we all hurt.

(See more pictures and the nutritional analysis of our meal at my personal diary blog.)
