Vegan Cookbooks: Veganomicon

I’ll be honest, I don’t have it yet, so I can’t review it. But I can tell you, it comes from the same cookbook author as Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World: 75 Dairy-Free Recipes for Cupcakes that Rule, which is excellent. I’ve made lots of cupcakes from that cookbook and almost all of them were fantastic!

So, I’m going to feature a different vegan cookbook every week until I run out or get bored. Next week: The Vegan Family Cookbook.

  1. It rocks. Seriously. You must have. We have the the original PPK cookbook and Isa’s cupcake one too, but Veganomicon is the best–so beautiful, such great recipes. The banana bread (we did the muffin variation) is to die for.

  2. I will probably get it soon.

But I doubt I’ll be making much banana bread. My husband hates bananas so we rarely have them in the house. He hates even just the smell of them. That, and we have a very small kitchen that’s a pain to cook in. And well, I hate cleaning up after cooking.

Let’s just say I’m a lazy chef. But I do love having a variety of vegan cookbooks on my shelf.

  3. I went to buy it at a local, small bookstore, but it was sold out. Guess I’ll get it online.
