   I am so glad someone finally brought this B.S. up. Whenever the ‘happy cow’ adds come on, I want to kick the TV screen in. As enlightened as Americans would like to believe they are, it is hard to believe that they are stupid enough to fall for this bullsh#t. I have talked to people who REALLY believed that cows just ‘produce’ milk. Maybe they failed biology class. Pathetic.

   I live in California. I have had the unpleasant privelege of seeing and smelling the feedlots the supposed ‘Happy Cows’ of California live on.

   The Corps responsible for those “Happy Cow” commercials should be sued for ‘truth in advertising’.

   It takes miles after driving past a California feedlot to get the stench out of your car. Imagine living your whole life up to your ankles in your own shit- that’s how “happy” the cows in California are.

   If for no other reason- think about it. California is essentially a desert. What water the valley gets, we’ve sold to Southern CA. We do not have grassy valleys. Doesn’t exist. At the most, we have dried yellow grasses. No green valleys! Get it in your head. Cows in California do NOT live in grassy fields. They live up to their ankles in their own excrement on dirt feedlots.
