Subway: Please Add Vegan “Meats” To Menu
COK just sent out an email that reads:
Do you enjoy Subway’s Veggie Delight sandwich but wish you could feast on a “meatier” animal-friendly meal? We do, too! That’s why COK is reaching out to the world’s largest sandwich chain, encouraging the company to expand its menu by adding a vegan meat option, such as Tofurky deli slices. Visit WeLoveSubway.com to learn more about this campaign and post your comment letting Subway know how much you’d like to see veggie meats on its menu!

I have to agree with COK. It’s a GREAT idea!
5 Reasons for Veggie “Meats” at Subway
1. More vegan and vegetarian options at Subway and other restaurants make eating out and traveling easier for vegans, vegetarians, and people who eat veg part-time.
2. More vegan and vegetarian options at Subway and other restaurants make nonvegans think twice about eating animals. When they see vegan options on a menu they can’t use the excuse that “vegan eating is too hard.”
3. More vegan and vegetarian options at Subway and other restaurants make it easier for families and groups of friends who have diverse eating habits and values to eat out in harmony. Tween and teen vegans who have nonvegan parents need options like this!
4. More vegan and vegetarian options at Subway and other restaurants support vegan businesses that make products like Tofurky deli slices.
5. More vegan and vegetarian options at Subway and other restaurants make the companies that produce animal products recognize the growing market for vegan products and thus encourage those businesses to produce fewer animal products and more vegan products.
…all of which benefit animals, the planet, and human health!

Thank you! I’ve been complaining about this for AGES!
I also agree and posted it on my Vegan FB page for others to send in their comments as well. Thanks COK
I looked at the website and notice that there are places to leave comments but NO place to hit up Subway directly – that’s the point, isn’t it? What’s the point of us ranting on our OWN veg websites? We need to bombard SUBWAY with these emails and calls, NOT ourselves! Can a link be added to that page for DIRECT ACTION, please?
