Strangeholm Responds
Strangeholm responded to questions she was asked about her veganism. She describes the video:
“In this part of the response we get into fascism, sissy vegan empathy, contradictions, the omnivore stance, PETA and so forth. Woo! What a way to spend the afternoon!”

Hi - thanks for posting great videos like this one. Strangeholm also recommends another great video that you should feature: Are human animals natural meat eaters?
Hi Valerie,
I think we might have that vid in the queue already, but I’ll check. It’s pretty, cute.
Personally, I don’t care if humans were “meant” to eat meat or not, we can obviously live successfully without it. It’s like talking about whether or not we were “meant” to fly or blog or skateboard or use medicine or wear glasses… it’s just not relevant to today’s world or in a discussion of ethics.
But for some people, it’s a big deal. They’ve so internalized omnivorism as natural that they need to be convinced it’s not so natural for humans. So evidence that many cultures eat a primarily plant-based diet helps convince them that our culture eats way too much meat.
Likewise, it’s a good video for kids, to expose them to new ways of thinking about food and veganism.
