   I know there are lots of us small rescues out there that would love to have someone sponsor an animal. I am run a small rescue but also work full time but never seem to have the time to set something up like this. I know lots of others are the same way. We don’t have the resources to seek help but really need it, nevertheless. I suggest that you find a local rescue group and offer to sponsor an animal, will help animals in your own community and then you could even actually visit the animal you help support!

   By the way, rabbit rescues are famously underfunded, help a bunny today by finding a house rabbit chapter in your area!

   Maple Farm Sanctuary is currently in great need for donations to feed and provide bedding and medical care for the wonderful animals in their care:

   Cheri and Jim Vandersluis are in the early stages of setting up this sanctuary, after a long journey of conscience that began with them closing their dairy goat operation, then transitioning to a vegan way of life, and eventually, creating a loving, lifelong home for rescued farm animals in need. Maple Farm Sanctuary currently cares for about 80 animals, almost half of whom are special needs cases who require extra time, attention and medical care. Please consider helping them out. Even small donations make a big difference!
