  2. Going vegan isn’t a cure-all and eating a little bit of animal products isn’t going to automatically give you a heart attack. I actually didn’t like him dismissing the animal aspect because for me, I’m not vegan for health reasons. I’m vegan for the animals. I hate when things are oversimplified–even if it does promote veganism. And enough with the whole “meat eaters smell bad/you’ll smell better as a vegan” thing. I did NOT smell or taste bad before I went vegan! My boyfriend can’t discern any difference because, yes, I asked him, and yes, he would tell me the truth (our relationship centers around a lot of 4th grade-level scatological humor so I’m sure he’d be honest).
