Maybe I’m just overly optimistic, but I think average people – not just us wacky vegans – would be upset by this:
“Scandinavian restaurant Northern Lights in Brighton has Santa’s best friend on the menu at £8.90 a dish.”
“Denise Friend of Brighton Animal Action said: ‘What sort of person would eat reindeer, especially at this time of year?’”
Gross.
I can just hear the parents, “Sorry Peter, but Santa can’t come this year. No, it’s not the economy. It’s chefs. They killed Rudolph.”
Bah, humbug.
