I am totally shocked by this, i never realised how many horse’s die from racing, and also some killed in the stalls? this is shamefull, surely something has to be done to stop this, it’s totally wrong these beautifull animal’s are being treated like thay don’t mean anything! i’m in tear’s
just one more thing, i was just reading the article on one of the racehorse death watch page’s about ashby jo, there are three photo’s of him with the screens round him and a vet loading a gun ready to shoot him yet ashby jo appears to be jumping around to avoid the gun witch he manage’s to dodge THREE TIMES! i’m just wondering what his injury was??? surely it could’nt have been that bad for im to be destroyed!
…yes I saw these photos too, and was horrified….did the
vet actually know what he was doing..?? The poor horse was already in terrible pain, no doubt, from his injury, then had

but meantime we should all campaign to made races/courses
much shorter, eg The Grand National and Cheltenham, and hurdles
much less hazardous for horses….these injuries and fatalities
are needless and horrible……
