I've handed out thousands of "Why Vegan?" booklets on college campuses and most students happily accept them. Relatively few get thrown on the ground or in the trash. This is good stuff. That said, for me, leafleting is leafleting. If you've done it for one cause or business, the same principles apply: be friendly, say something to get their attention, remember it's a numbers game and most people don't care, remind yourself that it's worthwhile... For me, leafleting is always easier when I just think of it as another job. When I start thinking about animals, I start to get angry or sad... which shows on my face and makes me less effective as a leafleter. I literally just think "keep working, keep working" or "I can do this" over and over. I love practical advice. This is good stuff.
