No Trick Treats

A new website has decided to help out vegan kids during Halloween. The site, called “No Trick Treats,” says:
Trick-or-Treating is tough for kids with dietary restrictions. This site is for Treat-Givers & Treat-Getters. It lets treat givers add their addresses and the snacks they’ll be giving out, and then it shows treat-getters the places in their area that have goodies they can enjoy!
So you add your home or business address if you plan to dole out special treats from there on Halloween night. And others will search and make Trick-or-Treating routes based on the info.
When I was a kid I just traded the candy I couldn’t eat with friends who ate differently. But it might have been nice to only receive candy that I could eat.
I think the concept of this website is a good one, but I think it will be years before No Trick Treat truly serves its purpose since very few homes are listed so far. What do you think? Is this new website a good idea?
