No More Homeless Pets Conference: Dogtown’s Secret Sauce

I attended the Best Friends’ No More Homeless Pets Conference for the first time this year.
Saturday morning I slipped into the Dogtown’s Secret Sauce session. The room was packed, as I expected it would be. The session presenters were two faces familiar to Dogtown fans: Michelle Besmehn and Ann Allums. For those of you who have been visiting Mars lately instead of paying attention, Dogtown is a series on the National Geographic channel that features Best Friends Sanctuary’s dogtown.
Michelle and Ann alternated in describing training situations at Best Friends’ Dogtown. They offered a full range of tips for almost any situation, and ended the session with an update on the Vicktory Dogs. The entire presentation was illustrated by video. The Vicktory victories were especially appealing to watch.
