Nature’s Nutrition Labels
The colors shown here are like nature’s nutrition labels. To ensure good health, eat a variety of colors!
Tattfoo Tan, an artist living in New York, created a large mural of colors that represent the colors or fruits and vegetables. He called his method of extracting the colors (using Photoshop’s eyedropper tool on his photographs of food he purchased at Farmer’s Markets) the “Nature Matching System.”
“The intense colors are intended to represent a kind of natural nutrition label—an indicator of naturally occurring phytochemicals and beneficial nutrients.”
Though it’s not specifically vegan, it’s certainly leaning that way. When you eat by trying to include a waide variety of colors, you wind up eating a lot more fruits and vegetables and fewer animals.
