  2. Awe, thanks :)
I would have loved to have had a soup, too, but that was just too much. Next year ;)

  3. Looked great. Wish I was there. Only problem: alcohol. Rum, wine, etc. may have animal products added. Sad but true. Especially anything flavored. Probably no problem with plain vodkas. Buyer beware. Do organic when can. Email maker of favorite spirits and ask.

One New Years Eve my wife and I had a huge party. She invited her entire running club– mostly meat eaters– and I invited the entire Queens NY Green Party– vegans and vegetarians. We set up two parallel buffet tables. Meat and vegan.

The political and diet discussions were hilarious. Don’t know if there were any converts in either direction tho no one was beat up or made to feel guilty.

How do you make the celebration roast?

    My best, David

  4. Hi David,
Captain Morgan is listed as vegan friendly on http://barnivore.com and so is Wild Turkey and the other drinks we had.
I baked the roast in the oven with veggie broth to keep it soft and tender.

  5. Hi, I was wondering if you had the recipes for this beautiful spread?

  6. Sorry, Amber, at the time I didn’t think of posting the recipes. But you can find some excellent Thanksgiving recipes here:
