From the Wall Street Journal:
“The country simply has more dung than it can handle: Crowded together at a new breed of megafarms, livestock produce three times as much waste as people, more than can be recycled as fertilizer for nearby fields.”
“That excess manure gives off air pollutants, and it is the country’s fastest-growing large source of methane, a greenhouse gas.”
The article doesn’t mention the solution, only the problem. So they won’t say it, but we know it: the obvious solution if you want to prevent factory farming pollution is to go vegan!
The only way to reduce this production of animal agriculture waste is to reduce the production of animal products like meat, dairy, and eggs.
Go vegan or go nearly-vegan. DO IT NOW!
If you keep waiting for the rest of the world to change, it’ll change alright, but it’ll be CLIMATE CHANGE and it will devastate the Earth.
