Horrific Treatment Of Lab Animals On Nightline

“Nightline” obtained the results of a nine-month undercover investigation by the Humane Society of the United States. A Humane Society investigator took a hidden camera inside the New Iberia Research Center for most of 2008. The video shows what the Society says is the way monkeys and great apes are treated behind closed doors.

I was just about to send you the url for this story as it appeared on the http://www.nola.com which posts the articles from the New Orleans Times-Picayune, but I see you have picked up on the story from the national press. If you read the Times-Picayune article and look at the comments, be aware that the commenters are almost always hateful no matter what the story. For example, the racism expressed on most articles will make your hair stand up on end. We are sharing the planet with a lot of ignorant, obnoxious, and generally vile people (but you knew that).
This is horrible, but sadly not the worst video I’ve seen. Look up Uneccasary Fuss. It was made by PETA.
Wow… I just watched the 5 segments of Uneccasary Fuss… and I’m sickened. The way these “scientists” were laughing and joking while the poor baboons were suffering. It’s just disgusting. That footage was from the late 80′s… goes to show with the release of HSUS video – nothing, but nothing has changed.
