Four Easy Ways To Promote Veganism Online

Alright, vegans, I’ve got some really simple virtual activism ideas for you.

These ideas are far from original ideas, but they’re still good ideas and that’s all that matters, right?

So here goes.
Four easy ways to promote veganism online:

  1. Take pictures of your vegan food and put them on the web. They don’t have to be perfect pictures. They just have to be pictures. The more, the merrier.
  2. Post vegan recipes on the web. Put them on your blog, in forums, wherever…
  3. Give new vegans encouragement by leaving nice comments on their blogs or sending them nice, encouraging emails.
  4. Send pro-vegan emails and leave pro-animal comments at mainstream news websites and blogs.

  1. 5. When someone blogs about dieting, eating healthy or losing weight, leave a comment that recommends they go vegan.
    6. Make youtube videos about eating vegan food.

  2. 7. And close your comment/argument with a question – It helps continue the dialog…. doesn’t it?

  3. I’m also fond of my instant messenger (I use AIM). One on one conversation, especially when started on a friendly, upbeat note can be a great tool.

  4. One other mention – I have my saved “responses” and “arguments” from some online discussions – If the question is generic enough – like “but you kill plants” or “what would we do with all the animals” or “where do you get protien” – I just copy/paste the proper response – saves a lot of typing (and thinking) time….
