Farm Sanctuary In The Washington Post
There is a story about the Farm Sanctuary in the Washington Post. And what a great story it is! (Read it here)
Unlike some of the stories previously published about the Farm Sanctuary, this story is purely positive. There’s no whining about lack of meat for one weekend. No body snuck dairy creamer into the cabins. No one cracked mean-spirited jokes about vegans. No one complained about how an animal sanctuary isn’t a five-star resort. It’s just a story about a pig, a man, and a couple barns.
Here’s an example from the article:
“Despite the emotional pull, the employees did not proselytize. In the cabins, a welcome note asks guests to refrain from eating animal products while visiting. It was hard, though, to not be moved.”
