Failed To Outpace

Browsing the comments at this post about animals without pain, I came across Adam Shriver’s comment which included this statement:

“Given that the animal liberation movement’s growth has failed to outpace increases in human population and per capita meat consumption, those who are concerned with the reduction of unnecessary suffering of animals may need to consider additional approaches.”

I agree.

Regardless of what activism methods you think are most ethical or more effective, the fact is that so far we’re the underdogs. Animal exploiters have more money, more power, and more influence. We have to out smart them, out last them, and out live them. And we will… eventually.
