Easter Bunny Exposed
This wacky video from COK gives some food for thought:
“The Easter Bunny is exposed as a chain-smoking, alcoholic, porn-addicted ’shell’ of an icon who peddles products of cruelty for the egg industry.”
The sad reality is that most eggs come from hens who live like this:
“With just 67 square inches of space in which to live, she can’t even flap her wings, let alone build a nest, perch, dust bathe, or perform many other natural behaviors.”
Thanks for posting this video. We should all celebrate Easter vegan style. I used to love getting those Easter baskets. If I have kids, I’ll just replace the candy with vegan goodies.

Haha, the video is so goofy. I love the scene where the bunny drops his basket and hops away. Haha.
Yeah, Billy, the personalized baskets are best. Just get a basket, reuse it every year (just like Christmas stockings) and fill it with a variety of vegan candies and other goodies like stuffed animals and fun toys. Homemade cookies are good, too.
And you can aways decorate plastic eggs, rocks, or clay eggs instead of chicken eggs. You can use nontoxic paint for the rocks or clay and stickers for the plastic eggs. The rocks are good to use for an easter egg hunt because if they don’t get found, it’s no tragedy because they’re rocks! (It’s not like polluting a park or backyard with plastic shells.)
