i watched EARTHLINGS last weekend and was thoroughly traumatized. i bawled pretty much the whole way through and actually had to fast forward through some of it because it was just too much to bear.
seriously, i think the only reason EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON EARTH isn’t vegan is because they don’t know about these things or if they do, they’ve never had to actually see it and can minimize it in their brains. that’s what i was doing before i became vegan.
it’s definitely an amazing film, however heartbreaking and soul destroying it is. only three people have reviewed it on netflix. if you’ve seen it, i’d suggest adding your review to the mix. 2 five stars and 1 idiot who wants “to decide for themselves” and “not be guilt tripped for eating a hamburger”. clearly someone missed the point entirely.
