Alternatives To Meat

The next time someone asks me, “Where do you get your protein?” I think I might point them to this website: http://www.meatalternatives.org/

Of course, there are other good answers to that question, too. Here are some options:

1) Hand them the Food For Thought podcast sampler and say, “Listen to track two.”

2) Plants, the grocery store, food.

3) I get my protein from a wide variety of vegan foods, such as, beans, nuts, rice, quinoa, tofu, blue-green algae, and other delicious, high-protein vegan foods.

4) The Vegan Wiki, Vegan Outreach FAQs, International Vegetarian Union FAQs, Vegan Family Living FAQs, Vegan Action FAQs, Vegetarian Resource Group FAQs, In Defense of Animals FAQs, John Robbins’ FAQs, ALF Vegan FAQs, PCRM Vegan FAQs, PCRM Vegan Health FAQs, Vegan FAQ blog.
