45% Say “Go Vegan”

The results of a Washington Post poll so far indicate that “the best response to the salmonella outbreak” is to “go vegan.”
Putting on my critical thinking hat I’d have to say that the poll does not represent the average person’s feelings. The average person might boycott eggs as a result of the recent Salmonella outbreak, but it seems unlikely they’d suggest that the best thing to do is to go vegan (even if going vegan is, in fact, the best response!).
Either way, the results certainly are intriguing!
Yes, obviously 45% of the general population will not be going vegan (or even lacto-ovo vegetarian, of course) at any time in the foreseeable future. But… at least it’s nice that 45% of the respondents in this particular poll have ANSWERED correctly.
