I am a vegetarian, and have been most of my life. Since I was about ten, and I am now thirty four. I had recently watched the horrific Food Inc. movie. I have wanted to be vegan for as long as I can remember. The process just seemed so over powering. I know I'm almost there... However vegan is a lifestyle. To me it is saying I do not believe th death of an animal for my personal use, and make a different choice all together. I struggle with being raised in Arkansas, and seeing that is a way of life. People eat meat and they are suppose to. People wear animals and that is the way it was meant to be. People like me are strange and animals can't process information like a human. So that makes them unworthy?? Maybe but they do feel pain, and they suffer. I have decided that there are a few companies when buying for my family. I will not buy from them. I won't allow my family to eat at certain places either. I dont' know how to take a large stand, but I know I can take a small personal one. I wish there was something more we could do about the mass production of the frankenanimals. It haunts me..........
