2008 Summer Conferences

2008 Summer Conferences

There will be at least five gatherings for all you animal advocates in the US this summer.
Meet, mingle, and make change!

Mark your calendars!
You won’t want to miss these.

And who knows? If you’re single, you might even meet Mr. or Ms. Right, too.

Here they are,
the upcoming animal rights and veg*n conferences:

  1. Their Lives, Our Voices: June 6-8 in Minneapolis, MN.
  2. Vegetarian Summerfest: June 18-22 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
  3. Let Live Conference: June 27-29 in Portland, Oregon.
  4. Taking Action for Animals: July 19-21 in Arlington, Virginia.
  5. Animal Rights 2008: August 14-18 in Washington DC.

Thanks to Erik Marcus for compiling this list.
Thanks to Chad at Food Fight for reminding me to add the Let Live Conference.

  1. Don’t forget Let Live NW Animal Rights Conference in Portland on June 27-29th! Check the site for all the details, http://www.letliveconference.org

    thanks.

  2. Duh, I’m an idiot.
OK, I added it to the list :)

  3. There are other conferences, too, but I want to point out that at least half of these are not animal rights conferences, most notably TLOV and TAfA.

Check out Eric Prescotts most recent blog post: Chicago’s foie gras ban repealed at http://ananimalfriendlylife.com

  4. Eric,
Yeah, I know they’re not all animal rights conferences. They’re all pro-animal conferences.
What are the other conferences coming up?
